According to its Steam page, Guns Undarkness is a "turn-based tactical JRPG" drawing inspiration from classics like Metal Gear Solid and Persona. Set in the year 2045, the game places you in a world teetering on the edge of destruction. You'll step into the shoes of a private military operative, teaming up with allies to undertake missions and unravel the mysteries that threaten humanity's survival.

The gameplay of Guns Undarkness is split into stealth and battle phases. In stealth mode, you'll navigate environments undetected, gaining an upper hand in combat when you strike from the shadows. The battles are turn-based, requiring strategic command of your characters and effective use of various firearms to triumph.

The demo for Guns Undarkness will offer around 20 minutes of gameplay, including a tutorial on basic controls, the battle system, weaponry, and early game strategies. The full game is slated for an Early Access release in Spring 2025, providing about 10 hours of playtime on PC. Stay tuned for further updates on the official release date.
