Code Geass: Lost Stories Ending Its Global Journey On Mobile Soon!
The mobile strategy tower defense game, Code Geass: Lost Stories, is ending its global run. While the Japanese version will continue, the global servers will shut down on August 29th, 2024. This means no new downloads, purchases, or logins will be possible after that date. The game's global social media presence will also cease on the same day.
Developed by f4samurai and DMM Games, and published by Komoe, based on the popular Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion franchise, the game launched globally in September 2023, falling short of its first anniversary.
Reason for Closure:
While no official reason was given, the game's low download numbers and generally unfavorable global reviews likely contributed to the decision. Many licensed anime gacha games struggle to maintain a player base outside Japan due to lower player spending in other regions.
Japanese players can still access the game via the Google Play Store. For those looking for alternative gaming experiences, check out the exciting news on Sky: Children of the Light's Tournament of Triumph!
