Clash Royale heads back to the past with new (yet old) Retro Royale mode

Clash Royale is throwing it back to 2017 with its new Retro Royale Mode! Available for a limited time only, from March 12th to the 26th, this nostalgic mode offers exciting new rewards.

Climb the 30-step Retro Ladder to earn Gold and Season Tokens. This limited-time event features a card pool reminiscent of the game's launch, bringing back the original meta and cards for a truly nostalgic experience. Choose from 80 classic cards and battle your way to the top!

The competition intensifies as you ascend the ranks. Once you reach the Competitive League, your starting rank will be determined by your Trophy Road progress. From there, it's all about Retro Royale performance – climb the leaderboard and show off your timeless Clash Royale skills!

A Royal Rewind

It's interesting that I recently discussed Supercell's commitment to fresh content, and now a retro mode arrives! However, there's a clear difference between dated and nostalgic. With the tempting rewards on offer, it's hard to imagine fans resisting the chance to relive the glory days of Clash Royale.
