The tweet confirms a Season 3 launch date of April 3rd, with further details promised next week. This is later than anticipated, as the current Battle Pass countdown indicated a March 20th reset.

Player excitement is high, fueled by Activision's long-teased return of the popular Verdansk map, expected this spring. A recent Call of Duty shop pop-up hinted at "The Verdansk Collection" arriving March 10th, strongly suggesting the map's comeback.

More details are expected next week, likely coinciding with the March 10th "Verdansk Collection" release. Until then, players can enjoy Season 2's additions: five multiplayer maps, the return of Gun Game, new weapons and operators, and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event.
