Botany Manor Unveils Revised PS5 Launch Date

Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th

Originally slated for a December 17th release, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 28th. Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, the game initially launched on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in April 2024 to widespread praise.

The delay, announced shortly before the initial December launch, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience. Whitethorn Games confirmed the new release date on January 9th. While the game's PlayStation Store page remains absent, pre-ordering may not yet be an option.

Expect Botany Manor to be priced at $24.99, consistent with its pricing on other platforms. The game offers a one-time purchase with no microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, which includes a separate digital soundtrack, this add-on is not expected to be available on the PlayStation Store.

Enhancing PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup

Botany Manor earned significant acclaim upon its initial release, boasting a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic with an 83 average score and a 92% recommendation rate. Its charming atmosphere, engaging puzzles, and rewarding exploration have solidified its reputation as a top-tier puzzle game of 2024. Its arrival on PlayStation will undoubtedly strengthen the platform's already impressive puzzle game library.

With its PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios has yet to announce their next project. January 28th will also see the PlayStation releases of Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
