by Max Mar 17,2025

2025 promises to be a monumental year for DC Comics, and few projects loom larger than the highly anticipated Batman: Hush 2. It's a significant event: DC's President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer, Jim Lee, is helming a monthly Batman comic. Beginning in March with Batman #158, this storyline serves as a direct sequel to the acclaimed Hush saga (2002-2004).

DC has unveiled an extended preview of Batman #158, offering early glimpses into Batman #159 and showcasing the numerous variant covers for Hush 2 (or H2sh, for those who prefer the alternative title). Explore the full preview in the gallery below:

Remarkably, Batman: Hush 2 reunites the original creative team from the first Hush storyline. Writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee return, joined once again by inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings.

Building upon the recent epilogue in Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, Hush 2 finds the Dark Knight uncovering evidence that his childhood friend, Tommy Elliot, survived their final confrontation. This revelation sets the stage for a new mystery as Hush manipulates Batman's allies and enemies.

Hush 2 will unfold across Batman #158-163, with the first issue launching on March 26th. Following this arc, DC will relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a redesigned costume, marking the start of a new era for the Dark Knight under writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
