How to Bathe & Clean Yourself in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

by Gabriel Mar 17,2025

Maintaining a clean and presentable appearance is paramount in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Your cleanliness significantly impacts how NPCs perceive you, influencing dialogue options and even quest outcomes. A grimy, blood-stained Henry will find interactions considerably more challenging.

Beyond social interactions, neglecting hygiene directly impacts your in-game charisma. Even with high Speech skills, a lack of cleanliness imposes a debuff, hindering your success in persuasion checks.

How to Clean Yourself in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*

Keeping yourself clean in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is achievable through three primary methods: troughs, bathing spots, and bathhouses.

Troughs

Trough

Commonly found in towns and outposts, troughs offer a quick and easy way to freshen up. Locate a trough near buildings or shops, interact with it, and Henry will wash his face, removing some dirt and blood. Note that this method doesn't clean your clothes.

Bathing Spots

Bathing Spot

Near larger bodies of water like rivers or ponds (for example, west of the Nomads’ and Cumans’ Camps in the Trotsky region), you'll find bathing spots. Simply entering the water provides a more thorough cleaning than troughs, partially cleaning both Henry and his clothes. However, it won't achieve perfect cleanliness.

Bathhouses

For the most effective cleaning, visit a bathhouse. Typically located in larger towns, these require a small Groschen fee. A bathhouse provides the most thorough cleaning, removing all dirt and blood from Henry and his clothes, leaving him impeccably clean. Regular visits are recommended for maintaining a pristine appearance.
