The *Animal Friends* mod by annanomoly on Nexus Mods is your answer. This mod not only automates petting but also feeds your animals, significantly reducing your workload. Important: You'll need the *Mods of Mistria Installer* to use this mod; it won't work without it.

Here's how to install the *Animal Friends* mod:

1. Create a new folder named "Mods" within your *Fields of Mistria* game directory.
2. Download the *AnimalFriends.zip* file and place it inside the "Mods" folder.
3. Extract the contents of the zip file. You can then delete or move the original zip file.
4. Run the *Mods of Mistria Installer* to install the mod.

The *Animal Friends* mod offers several customizable features: auto-petting, auto-feeding, a friendship multiplier, and prevention of friendship loss. The multiplier increases the hearts your animals gain, while the friendship loss prevention ensures those hearts remain.

To adjust settings, locate the *AnimalFriends.json* file within the extracted mod folder. This text file allows for easy modification. To enable a feature, change "false" to "true." For example, to activate auto-petting, modify the line to: ["auto-pet": true]. Disabling a feature is simply the reverse—change "true" to "false".
