New Assassin's Creed Shadows Trailer Showcases PC Version Features

Ubisoft has released a new trailer showcasing the PC version of Assassin's Creed Shadows, highlighting its impressive features. The trailer emphasizes support for advanced upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, ensuring a smooth experience across a range of hardware. Ultra-wide monitor support is also confirmed, along with ray tracing enhancements such as RTGI and RT Reflections. For players with less powerful PCs, the game boasts extensive settings to optimize performance. A built-in benchmark tool is included for easy performance testing and compatibility verification.

Minimum specifications for 1080p at 30 FPS include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8 GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8 GB) graphics card. High-end players aiming for 4K resolution at 60 FPS with ultra settings and advanced ray tracing will need an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, and a powerful RTX 4090 (24 GB) graphics card.

Ubisoft has partnered with Intel to optimize Assassin's Creed Shadows for Intel processors. Post-launch performance assessments on AMD systems will be conducted. The developers aim to address past stuttering issues that plagued previous titles in the series. Mirage showed significant improvements over Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, offering hope for a smoother experience this time around.

Assassin's Creed Shadows launches on March 20th for PC and consoles.
