How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE
After numerous trials and errors, we've successfully navigated all three Arata stages in GHOUL://RE. While these stages don't demand high gaming skills or extensive exploration, they do require significant Reputation grinding. Prepare for a substantial grind!
Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE
To begin, you must accumulate 25,000 Reputation points and reach the rank of Special Investigator within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the Commission of Counter Ghoul (C.C.G. center) and speak with Damiro D. Mado, the NPC with headphones on the second floor. He will assign you the Arata Stage 1 quest, which requires collecting 10 one-eyed fragments and 10 Kokuja fragments.
The quickest way to obtain these fragments is by defeating bosses like Eto and Tatara, and then crafting them at a workstation. Check your Reputation with Saiyo Natsuki, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you have all 20 fragments, craft them into five one-eyed Kokuja fragments at the workstation. If bosses pose a challenge, refer to our GHOUL://RE Boss and raid guide to enhance your combat skills.
Return to Damiro, and he'll direct you to speak with "him." This has been a puzzle for the GHOUL://RE community, but "he" is none other than Black Reaper of Doom And Despair.
For ease of navigation, consult our guide on all NPC locations in GHOUL://RE.
Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE
To progress to Arata stages 2 and 3, you must play in permadeath (PD) mode to unlock the legendary armor. Team up with reliable and strong allies, as solo missions can be quite challenging.
Once you've collected 100,000 Reputation points, take the elevator in the C.C.G. building to the Laboratory. Speak to Black Reaper of Doom And Despair, the man with the scalpel in a black suit near the door.
Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and your 100,000 Reputation to complete Stage two and obtain Arata-Proto armor. Despite rumors suggesting lower Reputation requirements (75,000 to 90,000), our experience confirms that 100,000 Reputation points ensure success.
Remember, for Arata Stages 2 and 3, you must play on PD servers. Otherwise, you'll receive a repeated response from the Black Reaper and won't complete Arata Stage 2 or access Arata Stage 3.

The final Arata Stage also involves "The Scalpel Guy," fragments, and a significant amount of currency. Continue in PD mode to pursue the epic armor.
Once you have a single one-eyed Kakuja fragment and 500,000 Yen, revisit Black Reaper of Doom And Despair at the C.C.G. building. After paying him, he will teleport you to face the Kishou Arima boss.
Defeating Kishou Arima requires average gaming skills, including jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing significant damage from above. With practice, even average players can conquer him.
Be prepared for potential deaths and bring ample resources. Each attempt after a failure requires another one-eyed Kakuja fragment and 500,000 Yen.
Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. However, be cautious; while Arata armor offers impressive buffs and protection, it also drains your hunger at an alarming rate.
Arata Armor Tips & Tricks
Arata-Proto Armor Buffs
Arata armor is powerful, but it drains your hunger rapidly while worn, and you cannot eat while equipped. You must remove Arata to replenish your hunger.
Despite this drawback, the armor's benefits are substantial. You cannot be ragdolled while wearing Arata, a significant advantage in all scenarios.
Arata also enhances your equipment, making your character increasingly "tanky" and capable of absorbing and dealing immense damage. If the armor depletes your hunger during combat, it will begin consuming your health bar. Remove it during critical moments to heal.
Reputation Grinding
The fastest way to amass the necessary Reputation is by fighting bosses in PD mode. Each boss defeated in PD mode yields 1,500 Reputation, significantly more than the 500 earned outside PD. Killing Ghouls grants only 100 Reputation per kill, making them less efficient for Arata quests.
Congratulations! You're now equipped with knowledge on all Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE. Before you start your Ghoul-slaying adventure, don't forget to grab our latest GHOUL://RE codes for an immediate advantage.
