Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete Snack Guide: Maximize Friendship Levels

This guide details how to acquire and effectively utilize snacks in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete to rapidly boost friendship levels and advance your Camp Manager Level. Friendship level directly impacts your experience gain, making snacks invaluable, especially early in the game.

Acquiring Snacks: A Comprehensive Guide

The most reliable method for obtaining snacks is through Gulliver's Ship.

Gulliver's Ship Strategy

Sending Gulliver to special gold islands, which yield Villager Maps, is key. Collecting all souvenirs from a special island awards 20 Gold Treats. If you've already collected all Villager Maps, send Gulliver to any island shown. Isle of Style islands consistently provide 3 Gold Treats as a souvenir and another 3 as a completion bonus.

You can view three islands at a time; one free refresh is available daily. Gulliver's voyages require cargo (crafted in your furniture catalog). Some islands necessitate specific furniture types; for instance, Exotic Island (for modern-themed snacks) benefits from exotic furniture or plain packages/crates.

Island snack types are previewable via the magnifying glass on the island icon. Longer voyages (6 hours) generally yield more treats than shorter ones. For example, Piano Island offers all Tart Snack varieties.

Alternative Snack Sources

  • Requests and campsite visitor gifts can provide Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats.
  • Daily Goals frequently include Silver and Gold Treats.
  • Blathers's Treasure Trek (using Auto-Trek with 5 Leaf Tokens) provides Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats from your collected Villager Maps.

Understanding Snack Types and Values

Snacks are categorized as regular (Bronze, Silver, Gold Treats) or themed. Regular snacks are universally liked; themed snacks are categorized by tier: Plain, Tasty, and Gourmet. Gourmet snacks provide the most friendship points, while Plain snacks offer the least. Gourmet snacks are typically found on longer voyages.

There are 36 different snacks:

Optimizing Snack Usage

Always check an animal's theme (found on their icon at your campsite or via Contacts/Pete's Parcel Service) before gifting. Matching themed snacks maximize friendship points. Gold Treats are the most efficient, providing 25 points regardless of theme. Ten Gold Treats can boost a level 1 animal to level 15. To give a snack, tap the animal and select "Have a snack!" (highlighted in red).
