"2016 Clue Suspects Added to Mobile Cluedo"

Marmalade Game Studio has recently released the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital version of Clue, also known as Cluedo, and fans of this classic murder-mystery game are in for a treat. If you're a lover of the game, you'll be thrilled to dive back into the world of the iconic characters from the 2016 edition.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The pack brings back beloved characters such as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This update focuses solely on these characters, offering players the freedom to incorporate them into any scenario they desire. Whether you want to stick with a nostalgic favorite or mix and match with the 2023 cast, the choice is yours.

Fans have been vocal about missing these characters, especially with the introduction of the more modern 2023 lineup. It's great to see Marmalade Game Studio responding to fan feedback by bringing back these cherished figures.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new Retro Rules Set game mode. This mode, available at no extra cost, lets you play using the original 1949 rules, bringing a touch of nostalgia to your gameplay.

The Retro Rules Set reinstates classic mechanics that alter how you move and make accusations. For instance, game tokens will start at designated spots on the board, and Miss Scarlet always has the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard takes the lead. Accusations can only be made while in a room, and the Clue Cards are omitted entirely. Additionally, players can't move through squares occupied by others.
